Happy Giving Tuesday!     For those of you who are not aware of what Giving Tuesday is, Giving  Tuesday connects diverse groups of individuals,  communities and organizations around the world for one common  purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving.  

We’ve participated in Giving Tuesday in he past and have been able to do great things through our non profit based on the donations received.  This year we are grateful to be  able to celebrate our resilience and participate for year four.

Why BRIDGE Inc was Created?

During my matriculation through the  Tift County School system, I benefited from an outstanding village that  consistently poured into me.  The consistent efforts of my village  positioned me to build confidence in myself, instigated an unyielding sense   of curiosity and created an awareness of the wealth of potential that the  world had to offer.  Since leaving Tifton, I’ve frequently thought about  how I can play a similar role in the lives of the kids that currently live  there.  Three years ago I started down the path of exploring and  understanding the ends and outs of the nonprofit space. In June of 2018 BRIDGE Inc was founded to  help at risk youth in Tifton, Ga.

Overview   of BRIDGE Inc.

The BRIDGE organization envisions a  world where all youth are equipped with the necessary life skills required to  appreciate the power that is harnessed in their uniqueness, consistently  visualize their potential and resiliently pursue their dreams.  Our  BRIDGE Youth program was created for at risk teens in Tifton, Georgia and is  anchored around providing activities that empower the engaged youth and equip  them with key life skills to effectively navigate challenges and evolution. The programs are offered throughout the   year and focus on self-awareness, self-respect, respecting others,  leadership, team building and goal planning.
